CEF Nicaragua

We sponsor two full-time National CEF Workers in Nicaragua where thousands of children are reached through home Bible clubs, public school programs, puppet ministry, the children's hospital, correspondence courses, and evangelistic campaigns.

Navigators

Bob and Debbie Thiessen serve The Navigators in Hungary where Bob began teaching at the then Karl Marx University in 1991 and where God led them to students who today form part of the ministry. He is still at the now-named Corvinus University of Budapest where he is teaching in the teacher training program.

Brian and Linda Crawford work for OMF in Thailand. They are focused on reaching 18 people groups (75 million in total) in the Greater Mekong region with the Gospel. They visited us in 2007-‘08 when they were on home assignment in Canada.

Jon and Marilyn Fuller's OMF ministry is based in Singapore, but Jon travels around the world in his role as International Director for Mobilization. A team of five directors gives oversight to this mission of 1000 members. Eighteen different home countries send out missionaries to the fields where they work in East Asia. Marilyn is involved with wives of international students at Singapore Bible College, with childcare at Orientation Programs for new workers and with some adult education.

Galo Vasquez

Galo Vasquez ministers regularly as a translator for Franklin Graham throughout Latin America. He has also been one of God's gifts to our ministry at the Skylark Centre in Nicaragua where he has helped to build a network of people resources. Galo lives near Barrie.

Pakistan Bible Correspondence School

Samson Javed visits us every few years to report on the Pakistan Bible Correspondence School which has completed over 50 years of ministry. 5,000 students study the Word of God through five PBCS Regional Centres in Rawalpindi, Karachi, Hyderabad, Faisalabad and Peshawar.

Renewal Fellowship

Calvin Brown, Executive Director of Renewal Fellowship, travels from coast-to-coast in Canada promoting renewal with the Presbyterian Church. He leads in conferences for pastors and in men's ministries. Periodically, they also publish the highly respected Channels magazine.

Threefold Ministries

St. Andrew’s supports the administration of Threefold Ministries, Adan Reynosa and his Nicaraguan school, and Karl and Heather Murch, leaders at the Skylark Retreat Centre in Nicaragua. Karl and Heather are members of St. Andrew’s.

Youth With A Mission Urban Ministries Winnipeg

We support Matt and Kristie Beynon who minister to the needy people on the streets of Winnipeg.

YWAM Urban Ministries Winnipeg, while still a pioneering centre, was founded with very specific long-term vision. Though we know that it will be reformed continually as it develops, our vision serves as a guiding light- a direction for the future to shape what we do today.

Presbyterian Church in Canada

As a congregation within the Presbyterian Church in Canada, St. Andrew's provides an annual allocation to the Presbyterian Sharing program. Our main focus for the past few years has been on the ministry of Ian and Linda Shaw who moved from their church ministry in Winnipeg to serve God in Guyana.

Child Evangelism Fellowship (CEF) was founded in 1937 by Rev. J. Irvin Overholtzer as a Bible-centered, worldwide organization, composed of born-again believers whose purpose is to evangelize boys and girls with the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ and to establish (disciple) them in the Word of God and in the local church for Christian living.
